Rhonda Lea Myers Obituary (1968 - 2021)

Rhonda Lea Myers (Sexton) of Dayton, age 53 died December 24th 2021 from stage 4 breast cancer at home while surrounded by friends and family. She was born February 13th, 1968 in Drexel, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents Mary Nicodemus and Robert Sexton and stepfather Robert Nicodemus. She is survived by her husband John Myers Jr, children Jonda (Calvin) Estes, Zach (Jennifer) Myers, brothers Jeff (Norma) Ayers, Robert Sexton, and Eddie Ayers, grandchildren Rylie and Wesley Estes, and many nieces and nephews as well as so many great friends. Rhonda graduated from Trotwood High School in 1986. Following high school she went onto Kettering School of Nursing, and was put in charge of her mom's nursing homes, and went into private home healthcare. She also worked for Sonitrol Security for 2 years. She married John Myers Jr. on June 30th 1989. She settled down in Dayton Ohio. They celebrated 32 years of marriage in June 2021. Rhonda was a member of East Dayton Christian Church; she loved teaching and doing crafts with the children.
