Edwonda Manning Obituary (1958 - 2020)

Edwonda Manning was born on July 8, 1958 to proud parents Edward Jordan and Amanda Manning-Bellamy, who have preceded her in death. Edwonda received her formal education at Thornton Junior High School. Edwonda married James Lee on February 26, 1977. Their union was blessed with two sons James Manning and Tywon Manning. Edwonda is the beloved grandmother to 5 grandchildren Isabelle, Kierra, & Alyssa, Brayden and William. Edwonda was also blessed to be Great grandmother of two. Edwonda confessed her life to Christ at an early age. She appreciated life and loved to fellowship with her church family. She also enjoyed traveling to Chicago to spend time with family. On December 3, 2020 Edwonda made her final transition to her heavenly home. She is welcomed by family members: mother Amanda, father Edward, grandmother Carrie, grandfather Sam, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. To carry on Edwonda's legacy are her sons James & Stephanie and Tywon & Nicole, brother Vernon & Vanessa Ford-Manning, and niece Crystal. Aunts Imogene Manning and Georgia & Whurry Bumpers.
