Dyrone Pitts Obituary (1954 - 2021)

Dyrone Pitts, age 67, of Dayton, passed away on October 27, 2021. He was born in Dayton to the late Charles V. and Velma Jean Pitts. Dyrone graduated from Walter E Stebbins High School in 1973 and went on to earn his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice and Private Investigation. He was a Notary Public, an achievement of which he was very proud. Dyrone was a security guard and a certified paralegal. He was a hardworking, kind, and compassionate brother, uncle, and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his parents, Dyrone was preceded in death by his sister, Elizabeth Dyer; and nephew Wesley Calmes. Dyrone leaves to cherish his memory, brother Chuck (Staci) Kohlbeck of Huber Heights, OH; sister Faith (Harold) Disbennett of Dayton, OH; sister V. Jeneen (Dave) Belcher of Dayton, OH; brother Bill (Edith) Pitts of South Bossier, LA.; nieces and nephews: Shelby Holden, Doug Kohlbeck, Niki Bertram, Ryan & Aaron Belcher, Zac, Jake, Josh, Jason, Nathan & Matthew Pitts; and many other loving relatives and dear friends. A funeral honoring Dyrone's life will be held on Friday, November 5, 2021 at Schlientz and Moore Funeral Home (1632 Wayne Ave, Dayton, OH) at 12pm. A visitation will be held for one hour prior (11am - 12pm). Burial to follow at Woodland Cemetery (118 Woodland Ave, Dayton).
