Carletta Joanne Anderson Obituary (1975

ANDERSON, Carletta Joanne (Jamaika) - age 44, of New Orleans, passed away on September 3rd, 2020 in Dayton, Ohio. Carletta was born in Louisiana, to parents L.C. Anderson and Marion Anderson. They moved to Illinois and she went to school at Fenger High School in Chicago. She married Cortez Riggins on 03/03/2001 in Chicago Heights, Illinois and were happily married for 7 years. She graduated from the International college of Business. She worked as a chef for Creative Cuisine. She was awarded a marksmanship badge while in the US ARMY. She was also a member of the Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Carletta is preceded in death by Marion Anderson. Carletta is survived by Maya Anderson, Cheyrone Anderson, Asante Anderson, Ajarae Riggins, Amir Riggins, Daelyn Webb, Katrina Avery, Natalia Jackson, Leviticus Jackson, Brittany Sumlin, Ayana May, Myles May, L. C. Anderson, Patrice Chanpagen, Larry Anderson, Glen Anderson, Karen(Lacy) Silas, Michael Anderson and Lettera Anderson. Funeral services will be held at 12pm October 15th, 2020 at Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home with the Stephanie Favors of Mount Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, officiating. Cremation to follow.
