Charlie enjoyed many hobbies, fishing, playing cards, CB club (his handle was String Bean) and most importantly spending time with family and friends. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the Reds, Bengals, University of Dayton Basketball and local Dayton Dragons. Anyone that was greeted by Charlie was greeted with either a firm handshake, Strong hug, a kiss or an icy pop for the neighborhood kids. Charlie had a wonderful sense of humor and got along with everyone. Before Parkinson took its hold on him, he enjoyed his daily walks and passing out treats to the neighborhood dogs. He was determined not to let Parkison slow him down.
He is survived by his three children Sharon Muscarella (Ed) of Georgetown, KY, Susan Doll (Jim Stanley) of Aurora, OH and Mike Doll of Buda, TX; Grandchildren Brad Edwards, Andy Edwards and Tyler Stanley; Great Granddaughter Aubrey Edwards; Sister Rosemary Adams of Speedway, IN and Joan Enneking of Oldenburg, IN, and many nieces and nephew and two brother-in-laws. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Romey, and brother James "Spot" Doll.
