Raymond, as his mom called him when he was in trouble (which wasn’t infrequent in our college days), was my brother in college and we created memories that still bring a smile to my face to this day. Ray loved a good time and we had maybe more than we deserved and he loved to laugh. One thing I’m so thankful to Ray for to this day, is his love for jazz and having him bring that music into my life. I know there’s a jazz show up there with some of the giants of jazz and Ray is in the front row. Enjoy the show my brother and REST IN PEACE.

Ray lived his life in humor. When he entered a room he was sure to crack a joke and make you laugh. Hopefully heaven has standup and maybe even karaoke. He deserves to live eternity in laughter and peace. Ray, May you continue to sparkle as you enter your everlasting life.

1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 - Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.

You have fought the good fight Ray. You have finished the course. You have kept the faith. Rest in eternal peace.

Ray will forever be loved. He tried, he strived and remained ever hopeful. He loved his son Kevin and can be proud he helped raise a son who was there for him when he needed him most. Peace, my brother.
