Harold Dean Leet Sr., age 79 of Englewood, passed away peacefully with family on June 26, 2019.
He was born on March 22, 1940 in Dayton, OH to the late Kelly and Lina (Buckler) Leet. In addition to his parents, Harold is preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry, Roy, Dickie, Greg, Virgil, Kelly Jr. and John Leet; Sister, Frances Leet.
He is survived by his wife, Della (Grigsby) Leet and children, Harold Leet Jr., Lina (Joshua) Kammer and their two children, Avery and Lillian; Step daughter Rhonda (Dwight) Hooper and their two children, Josh (Lauren) Hooper and Justin Hooper; Great grandchildren, Mariella, Marley, and Colton Hooper; Brother, Patrick (Brenda) Leet; Sisters, Doris (Leon) Henn, Kaye Bea Leet and Violet Anderholm; Along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Harold retired from General Motors, after working about 38 years. He loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, was a Chevy man, “damn near genius”, and could build and fix anything. He enjoyed cooking, music and teaching his boy and family how to play songs on the guitar. He loved spending time with his grandchildren during the final days and talked about how much he loved them often.
Family will receive friends from 11am-1pm on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2019 at Schlientz & Moore Funeral Home, 1632 Wayne Ave, Dayton, OH.
A funeral service will then start at 1 pm at the funeral home.
Interment to follow the service in the Royal Oak Memorial Gardens, Brookville, OH.
