Condolence From: Brian Bailey
Condolence: I had the pleasure of meeting Dean on several occasions. Dean was a great guy just like the rest of the Milam's and was just a down to earth man. My Sympathy goes out to the family in this difficult time.

Condolence: I first met Dean (Mr. Milam) almost 40 years ago. I was excited to meet a new girl in the neighborhood and hoped I could make a new friend. Little did I know that I would build a lifetime friendship and love for the entire family. Dean always made me feel welcome. I admired his presence and engaging personality, even as a youngster coming over to play with his daughter. It didn’t take long for me to find my best friend and at the same time be so drawn to the Milam family. Dean was kind when he didn’t need to be, and gently firm when he saw an area of concern. His squinting eyes and laugh from his whole being was infectious! I’m so grateful to have known Dean. He positively influenced the direction of my life. Dean will be so very missed by so many. He lived, loved, and laughed!

Condolence: I have had the pleasure of knowing dean and being his barber for more than 30 yrs.i dont have the words to Express the kind of person he was .he talked of his love for his kids and grandkids his brother Leroy and his nephew steve al the time I feel that I know them from the conversations we had and all the stories over the years.he would wear a tux for a meeting he had and he loved Thomas kinkade prints The next day he would be ready to ride his Harley. Dean was truly one of god's creations.compassionte helpful and full of wit and wisdom.i am truly going to miss him immensely. When my husband became terminal this year with cancer dean came once a week to check on me and see if he could help.i know he is in heaven because god only takes the best. The music has stopped but the melody lingers on.

Condolence: Dean was a very loving, giving, energetic, and compassionate man. On every phone call, he would ask how the children and extended family were doing. He was very concerned about their work, health, education and relationships all along the way. He continued to want to be a part of the Hoak and Yoder families, long after the death of my sister Gwen. He came to weddings, funerals (including my Uncle Pete, the day before his last birthday), picnics, and any sort of family celebration. He enjoyed many good stories and laughs. He will be sorely missed.

Condolence: I cannot express in this tribute to what Dean has ment in my life. As far back as I can remember Dean has always been there, I remember sitting with him on the family cruise and he wanted to be part of the young adults table instead of the adult table. Dean would order one of everything off the menu truly just so he could watch our face when we were eating escargot and all kinds of other weird things. Dean was at my graduation at Paris Island South Carolina when I graduated from Marine Corps basic training he was also at my kids birthday parties family gatherings graduations weddings. He has supported me in so many ways through some of the struggles that I have been through and I cannot tell you how many great talks him and have had. Dean was one to always keep it real And tell you what he really thought whether you wanted to hear it or not! I loved that about him. Dean was my uncle my buddy friend And second bed. He has two wonderful daughters lisa and Jeanette, I am so sorry for your loss. Dean will be missed by very many people, he knew no stranger and judged no one. I know that Dean is by the Lords side riding down the golden streets riding his new heavenly Harley.

Rest my friend.

Condolence: I had the fortune to meet Dean a few years ago at his brother LeRoy's house. What a great guy! He was so full of life and I really enjoyed golfing with him. He especially was fond of working outside clearing and burning brush and had so many great stories to tell over the fire. He will be truly missed as he touched many lives. Our comfort comes from knowing he is with our Father now. My deepest sympathies go out to his family. May God be with you during this most difficult time.
